Why We Made This
From Boardrooms to the Nursery: The Story of Louie
The "Aha" Moment
For over a decade, my life was measured in KPIs, quarterly targets, and high-growth strategies at some of the world’s biggest tech companies. I lived for the hustle, working 17 hour days up until two days before my delivery of — Lewis.
When my son was born, my perspective shifted overnight. Suddenly, "high growth" wasn't measured by a revenue chart; instead, it meant the infant sleeper that fit Lewis on Monday was somehow too tight the following week. I found myself frustrated by a cycle of "disposable" baby fashion: clothes that were outgrown in weeks, made with questionable chemicals, and destined for a landfill.
Why "Good Enough" Wasn't Enough
I spent my career expecting the best from global platforms, so I started expecting the best from Lewis’s wardrobe. I didn't just want "organic"—I wanted a gold standard.
That’s why Louie isn’t just a brand; it’s a commitment. We spent months obsessing over design, fabric quality and sustainability because "toxin-free" shouldn't be a marketing buzzword—it should be a guarantee.
Built to Grow (Literally)
As a parent in Singapore, I know we value two things: quality and longevity. Louie was born from the idea that baby clothes should "grow-with-them." By using innovative, adjustable designs and the highest-grade organic fibers, we’ve created a collection that lasts longer than standard babywear. It’s better for your wallet, better for the planet, and—most importantly—better for the little ones who inspire us every day.
"I traded the corporate ladder for the nursery floor to build something that lasts. Welcome to Louie— where we celebrate the slow, the sustainable, and the small moments."
